Hi,

I recently discovered that the batteries in the digital speed meter had leaked, causing the LCD display to have a blackish tinge at the top.

I thought that by cleaning away the leak and replacing it with new batteries, the display might work again, because only a relatively small portion was affected ... but apparently not

I'm just wondering now if the warranty covers the battery leak, since the batteries that leaked were from the original set (I have never taken it apart prior to this)
or else is there any way to just buy the LCD display by itself, since this is the only component that was contaminated by the leak
